This goose flew straight at me for about 100 yards, only veering off course when it was about 15 feet away. The beauty of this image is that it’s not cropped. Zoomed in you can make out every detail in the feathers and eye. Great shot to print and hang on the wall.
I shot this image with a Nikon 400mm f3.5 manual focus lens. It has amazing image quality if you’re ok with manual focus.
He’d get more food if he stood by a different sign.
A seagull in Westminster, Maryland. Scaled down for web. Full size would make a nice wall print. I shot this with a beautiful secret lens from Tamron. Their 300mm f2.8. I love the background colors and definition in the eye of the seagull.
