This goose flew straight at me for about 100 yards, only veering off course when it was about 15 feet away. The beauty of this image is that it’s not cropped. Zoomed in you can make out every detail in the feathers and eye. Great shot to print and hang on the wall.

6 Point Buck
This is another shot from Audubon, PA. The deer in a certain area up there have no fear of humans. This was shot from a paved trail and this buck was maybe 30 feet away. He looked up when he saw me and must have thought “oh, just another photographer”, and quickly went back to his business of foraging.

Fawn at Hashawha. Westminster, Maryland
This one of those side-of-the-road shots where I was glad I hadn’t packed up my camera after leaving Hashawha. Shooting from the car has the advantage of resting the lens on the door and obtaining a crystal clear image with no camera shake. This is a heavy crop of the original image and yet it’s still clear.
Fawn Crossing
Here is shot taken 7/14/2019 of a fawn crossing a two-lane road just outside of Hashawha Nature Center. I stopped to let the fawn across and took this pic through the windshield. The curvature of the windshield led to the lines on the road looking larger than they actually were. It almost makes the fawn look minature. It was small but not as small as it appears here.
Green Heron
If only he could read
He’d get more food if he stood by a different sign.

Blue Heron
This blue heron didn’t mind that I was 10 feet away from him. This shot was with a Nikkor 180mm f2.8 lens. I was originally shooting with a 400mm lens but he kept walking closer to me.
